GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)
The GNM program, a three-year diploma program, provides training in general nursing and midwifery. Since we offer theory and skill lab sessions on campus, the students allocated to the clinical area and community settings should be accompanied by teaching professors from the school. In order to maintain the best possible level of health in all areas, students employ great nursing care as well as problem-solving techniques in their clinical practice.

Eligibility & Admission Process
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.
- Registered ANM with pass mark. Students shall be medically fit.
Reservation
- 5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
- Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) No upper age limit. For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar.
- For admission into the GNM program, it is mandatory to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the JCECEB (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) as per the notification published.
