The four-year B.Sc. Nursing program enables students to offer creative and intellectually demanding experiences that will prepare aspiring nurses to meet the world's healthcare demands. We provide instruction on policy and procedure, and students graduate with a clear vision and the skills necessary to be compassionate, forceful, etc. The Curriculum covers the various subjects including Adult Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Midwifery/Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing.

Eligibility & Admission Process

  • The minimum age of admission shall be 17 years on 31 st December of the year in which the admission is sought. No upper age limit.
  •  Candidate with science who have passed the 12 th standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
  •  Candidates are also eligible from State open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
  •  English is compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
  •  Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and pectacles are worn by such candidates.
  •  Candidate shall be medically fit
  •  Married candidates are also eligible for admission
  •  Student shall be admitted once in a year
  •  For admission into the Basic B.Sc. Nursing program, it is mandatory to appear and qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the JCECEB (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board OR Kolhan University Chaibasa as per the notification published.

Reservation Policy

Reservation of seats in for admission in Nursing colleges for ST/SC/OBC/EWSs/PH

5% Disability reservation to be considered for disabled candidates with the disability of loco-motor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower                   extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to qualification will be same as prescribed for General category candidates.
